Account and Pricing Assistant


We are looking for a talented Accounts and Pricing Assistant to join our team specializing in Finance for our Engine Business Segment in Darlington.

This is a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Hybrid work- minimum of 2 days in the office.

Salary is £27,675 - £33,840 depending on skills and experience.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Works with more complex internal and external customers to procure payment of Accounts Receivable balances due. Performs activities under minimal supervision.

  • Works with more complex customers to process payments.

  • Prepares statements of accounts for customers.

  • Answers basic and complex customer inquiries.

  • Prepares analysis of accounts.

  • Conducts root cause analysis of late payments and suggests process improvements.

  • Prepares month end reporting.

  • Participates in and/or leads projects related to Accounts Receivable improvement.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

  • Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

  • Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders and develops partnerships to drive performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies; influences the organization by demonstrating knowledge of the business to provide guidance to support the decision making process and guiding the business towards positive results and organizational alignment; evaluates business environment using measures to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Leverages internal control framework by assessing internal controls and developing remediation plans to mitigate financial reporting risks and respond to changing business needs.


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • AAT Qualified or working towards (preferred)

  • Finance background

  • Team Player

  • Computer Literate
