We are looking for a talented Compliance Finance Analyst to join our team in fast paced and demanding environment in our Financial Service Centre in Darlington.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Proactively manage the local Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM) environment, raising tickets, resolving mapping issues and ensuring all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
Prepare and reviews internal control documentation (i.e. process maps, flowcharts, control matrices) to ensure documentation is current and processes are designed in accordance with company requirements.
Assist in the reviews of business processes and tests financial and operational internal controls to evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control environment.
Provides financial analysis and insight into the trends identified in the management pack and provide variance analysis and commentary to the local leadership team.
Monitors variances against AOP on a monthly basis delivering forecast information.
Gather annual forecast information for the AOP, support the capital accounts for the Financial Service Centre, raising maintenance forms as required and preparing and delivering monthly reviews to management.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
A relevant degree, or professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA is preferred.
Existing experience in a financial risk and compliance role is preferred.
To be data-driven with exceptional analytical skills to solve problems and draw meaningful conclusions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey a clear understanding of the needs of the business.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary between £29,500 and £37,300 depending on relevant experience
