This is an exciting opportunity in Darlington, UK for a Customer Quality AssuranceManager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the team responsible for all OEM related customer communication to the plant, ensuring team coaching and development in line with individual and business needs.

  • Liaising directly with customers and over-seeing departmental quality related communications.

  • Working closely with all account teams and plant teams to support customer requirements.

  • Analysing information and defining improvement activity to support quality and customer requirements - coordinating activity cross-functionally to achieve targets set.

  • Working closely with the global quality groups to support wider business initiatives.

  • Leading multiple projects from inception to completion; facilitating project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project; and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline.

  • Monitoring and communicating project status to project teams.

  • Planning and monitoring departmental budgets.

  • Supporting all IATF and additional certification requirements.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent communicator – written, verbal and face-to-face.

  • Customer relationship management.

  • Team management and development.

  • Ability to overcome obstacles and resistance among stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage several priority tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

  • Quality tool application.

  • Data analysis.

  • PPAP/APQP beneficial.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • Degree level in business, supply chain or engineering fields.

  • 6 Sigma beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary - £37,000 - £42,000
