Business Development Manager- Aftermarket

Description

At our Dordrecht site in Holland, we are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our After Market Sales Team. The role reports to the Aftermarket Sales Leader Central and Northern Europe.

Your Tasks

  • Implementing the right set of market strategies and priorities to drive profitable and sustainable growth, working closely with functional support leaders and sales team cross Central and Northern Europe region.

  • Involving/leading in enabling the channel with product and non-product initiatives to deliver regional growth targets.

  • Working with cross-functional teams to make profitable growth plans, functioning as a conduit between WG sales team and DBU team to ensure successful execution of synchronized strategic growth initiatives on specific target projects.

  • Seeking new potential growth opportunities (including tenders) and extending/developing channel opportunities in coverage of Central and Northern Europe region.

  • Leading special key growth projects.

  • Seeking new aftermarket opportunities including service contracts in the region

  • Gathers and analyzes publicly available information and data from Marketing/Market Research to support identification and prioritization of market and product segment opportunities. May attend industry and customer activities to build understanding of the market.

  • Prospects and identifies specific local business opportunities and/or target accounts. May collaborate with Cummins Upstream Influencers to better identify specific prospective accounts and their potential needs.

Qualifications

Your profile

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, technical or a related subject required, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

  • Managing & thriving in ambiguity

  • Strong Business Acumen

  • Stakeholder alignment

  • Great Communication Skills: developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Customer focus Experience: building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

  • Negotiations Excellence: utilizes tools and methods in negotiations to achieve Cummins stakeholder objectives and achieve a mutually agreed upon all contract terms between all parties

  • Fluent in English to be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Dutch language is a plus

  • Valid driving license/ active driver
