We have a very exciting opportunity in Gross-Gerau for a consultative and driven Account Manager who will have ownership of a wide variety of high value accounts. With the support from a dedicated Accounts Team, you will be responsible for proactivelyworking with your assigned clients to fully understand their needs and how Cummins can support their business, focusing on driving sales and supporting the global business strategy.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
Manage the relationship and business strategies for multiple client accounts within Germany and Northern Europe.
Identify opportunities to promote and cross sell Cummins’ products and services to your existing customers, ensuring that sales goals are achieved in alignment sales plans and business strategy.
Grow and establish positive customer relations and create action plans for improvement where necessary.
Guide and coordinate all communication and interfaces with your customers at appropriate levels.
Negotiates and implement contracts including payment terms and accounts receivable deliverables.
Collaborate with production and other support teams to identify and prevent potential issues on your accounts.
Be the champion for the voice of the customer within the business.
Support account strategy and works with key stakeholders in the business to achieve optimum results.
Drive Customer focused improvement initiatives to strengthen relationship with customer.
Drive cross business unit account development in support of account strategy.
Collaborate with colleagues on other projects as and when required.
Skills and Experience Preferred:
Demonstrable experience in a Customer Relationship or Account Management position is essential to be considered for this opportunity.
A background within an engineering industry is highly beneficial for this position.
A consultative, solution based approach to sales and customer service.
Commercially aware with excellent negotiation skills.
Natural rapport building skills with a desire to attain a high level of customer satisfaction.
A creative and dynamic individual with a genuine passion for the industry and the brand, growing the market share and increasing Cummins presence.
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
- A degree is preferred or relevant work experience in a sales position.
