This is an exciting opportunity in Huddersfield for a Senior Line HR Generalist
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
Support the Global HR Business Partner to achieve HR Business Process Execution Excellence for the Global Engineering organisation: Lead the local line HR support for Engineering to ensure consistent and robust roll out and support for HR Business processes. For example:
Plan, organise and support the complex global performance calibration process. Ensure correct sequence of Engineering sub-function and regional assessments to support robust global performance calibration discussions.
Ensure consistent communication of the growing functionality of the Talent Management System (TMS) and provide support for managers and employees with the TMS functionality.
Support the Global HR Business Partner to deliver continuous improvement to the CTT Engineering organisation:
Collaborate with the Engineering leaders to identify and prioritise current and future HR business process improvement projects. Structure clear problem statements and work with the Engineering HR team and Engineering leaders to create project charters.
Global Engineering Headcount Data Analytics:
Support the Global HR Business Partner to identify resourcing needs and risks to Engineering deliverables.
Support the CTT Huddersfield HR Team in creating the right environment:
Conduct investigations. Build constructive relationships with employees and other stakeholders and reinforce consistent application of Cummins standards.

Human Resources Business Process Execution - Manages the execution of Human Resources business processes, seeking efficiency, accuracy, positive business performance outcomes.
Human Resources Consulting - Collaborates with business leaders in applying business and Human Resources functional knowledge to interpret the business environment, identifies and prioritizes current and future problems requiring solutions; structures clear problem statements, breaking down issues into smaller, meaningful and manageable components that when addressed, provide a holistic solution.
Data Analytics - Interprets information relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks, and leverages analytical problem-solving tools to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drive business insights; assesses quality of data as an initial step of the analysis.
Labour & Employee Relations - Practices employee relations at sites where employees are represented by third parties; applies knowledge of labor law; negotiates, interprets and implements the language of collectively bargained agreements. Builds constructive relationships with employees and other stakeholders; reinforces consistent application of Cummins standards applies knowledge of employment and labor law; effectively manages conflict; builds and maintains a collaborative, productive work environment through information sharing and consultation.
Conducting An Investigation - Utilizes interpersonal skills, sound judgment and investigation tools/process to resolve reported violations of Cummins standards in a way that promotes our values and ethical principles; conducts effective interviews, and analyses information; clearly articulates findings and recommendations verbally and in writing.
Facilitation - Guides group discussions or training by creating an active environment where questions are posed, perspectives are shared, and debates occur with the goal of gaining understanding, analyzing issues, resolving conflict, exploring solutions, or making decisions.
Candidate Assessment and Selection - Defines qualification requirements and selection criteria for open positions using Cummins tools
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary £40,000- £50,000 (Dependent on experience)
4% variable bonus (dependent on company’s performance)
