Health, Safety and Environmental Supervisor
We are currently seeking a HSE Supervisor to join the team in Krakow. This role will be instrumental in developing HSE best practice in our brand new, state of the art, high horsepower engine rebuild facility as well as at other Cummins and customer locations across Poland.
You would be required to demonstrate influencing skills and a knowledge of all existing solutions to mitigate risks in a multisite environment. There is an element of travel in this role, and you will need to travel to multiple Cummins locations within Poland.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways;
To implement and sustain a positive health, safety and environmental culture through the application of the management systems framework in site(s) with low complexity.
Build strong relationships across functions to ensure the organization understands their roles and responsibilities and are committed to driving a positive health, safety and environmental culture.
Lead hazard identification, environmental aspect identification and risk assessment programs to identify strategic risk improvement opportunities and gaps in health, safety and environmental compliance obligations. Manage planning actions to set targets and objectives for the site and supervises actions through completion.
Develop and maintain support content ensuring it is up to date, controlled and available while adhering to data privacy regulations. Interfaces with external regulatory bodies as required with the support of the legal department.
Drive improvements to health, safety and environmental performance metrics using a risk-based and data-driven approach. Adhere to Cummins internal reporting requirements through approved systems.
Lead daily health, safety and environmental operations within the site(s) providing support to solve issues, including but not limited to health, safety and environmental compliance, capital and resource management, risk reduction, incident investigation, management of change, contractor safety, emergency preparedness and response, pollution prevention and environmental sustainability.
To be a success in this role you will need;
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject
NEBOSH general certificate
Significant hands-on experience in a similar HSE with knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and regulations is required
Fluent in both English and Polish, spoken and written
Willingness to travel to multiple Cummins locations regularly,
