Description

At our site in Marktheidenfeld, we produce and develop SCR dosing systems to reduce nitrogen oxide in modern exhaust boxes. The development process is supported by numerical simulation in numerous engineering disciplines and at the same arranged time and cost efficient. Here, we use modern CFD, FEA and 1D-Simulation methods and tools, which are validated with lab tests into detail. Within this area, we are looking for motivated students that have a deep understanding of physical processes to support us in the different simulation disciplines with a final thesis or an internship.

Your task in details:

  • Support in the field of Multidisciplinary Optimization (MDO) and Robustness Analysis AND/OR

  • Support in the field of transient and steady state simulation of temperature fields (Freezing, Thawing and Operation Conditions) OR

  • Support in die field of detailed 1D modelling of pumps and dosers (Digital Twins) OR

  • Support in the field of structure mechanical simulation (vibration/durability, sealings, mechanical strength etc.) AND

  • Validation of the simulation methods mentioned above with the help of lab tests

Qualifications

Your profile:

  • Studies in the field of Engineering

  • First background knowledge in the field of numerical simulation (FEA, CFD or 1D) would be beneficial

  • First experiences in ANSYS CFX and/or ANSYS Mechanical and/or GT-Suite would be beneficial

  • First experiences in the usage of an MDO tools (modeFRONTIER) would be beneficial

  • Structured work behavior and very good physical understanding

  • Very good knowledge in MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Very good German and English language skills
