This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for an Electrical Engineer.

Cummins Electrified Power are a leading provider offlexible battery solutions for demanding automotive and powerapplications .

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • By applying your specialized knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices in the design, development, analysis and release of battery solutions.

  • Designing and developing components for automotive batteries (bus bars, wiring, harness etc.)

  • Drawing up project plans and circuit diagrams using computer-assisted engineering and design software

  • You will work with other engineering disciplines and cross-functional teams to resolve product issues.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience of commercial engineering and design software (E.g. Creo Cabling, VeSys, Cadonix, Arcadia)

  • Knowledge of battery testing procedures (End of line, functional and safety) for automotive applications

  • Relevant harness, battery and e-machine vehicle integration knowledge (powertrain and/or entire vehicle)

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required. Advanced degrees are a benefit

Compensation and Benefits

In return we can offer a salary between £40,000 - £54,000 (dependent onexperience).
