We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineering Team Lead to join our team specializing in Hydrogen for our Hydrogenics in Ovel, Belgium.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
-To support the DFMEA works by identifying the failure modes and cause-effect through the PEM/Alkaline/fuel cell system level
-To support the product planning strategy to ensure the planned product to be in the lead and right position.
-To guide the P&ID layout and support limited mass-production in prototyping assembly line design.
-This person will be responsible for design work in support of current product issues.
-Design 3D solid models, 2D drawings, bills of material (BOMs) and P&ID diagrams; and be responsible for mechanical design, modelling, material selection, and specify key components.
-Lead issue resolution of mechanical systems and ensure all changes are implemented robustly and timely to support project objectives as well as driving the resolution of cross functional technical / manufacturing issues using quality tools.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
-Must be fluent in English both written and verbal
-Ideally would also be fluent in Belgian but not mandatory
-Must have managerial experience
-Mechanical Engineering Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
