Description

Hydrogenics (Part of the Cummins Group) are the worldwide leader in designing, manufacturing, building and installing industrial and commercial hydrogen generation solutions (Water electrolysers) and hydrogen fuel cells.

This is an amazing opportunity for a Senior Sales Manager to come into a consultative role where you will be working as part of a dynamic team who are pioneering new technology as part of a global organization.

The Role

As a Senior Sales Manager you would be focused on the Renewable Hydrogen (Water electrolyser) market to generate and deliver new business throughout EMEA region.

You will need to use a consultative approach to partner with potential customers as a subject matter expert and to demonstrate the many benefits of using Cummins water electrolysis technologies.

Your duties in the role will include:

  • Managing the relationship and business strategies for large, complex accounts (Cross-Regional, Global, etc).

  • Selling the organization's products to assigned business customers to achieve sales goals, expanding existing customer relationships and executing account sales plans in support of business strategy.

  • Developing, managing and maintaining business relationships with assigned accounts supporting the organization's sales strategy.

  • Developing growth or new business opportunities jointly with accounts and supports cost initiatives.

  • Extending and expanding the sales of products and services to existing clients.

  • Leading, managing and coordinating communication and interfaces with the customer at all levels.

  • Negotiating and implementing contracts with accounts as authorized.

  • Managing production and distribution issues associated with accounts.

  • Establishing and maintaining positive customer relations.

  • Coaching and mentoring less experienced account managers and account specialists.

  • Acting as a champion for the voice of the customer within the business.

  • Developing account strategy and works with key stakeholders in the business to achieve optimum results.

Measuring customer satisfaction and creating action plans to improve satisfaction based on data.

  • Managing accounts receivable deliverables including payment terms negotiation discussions.

  • Driving Customer Focus Six Sigma initiatives to strengthen relationship with customer.

  • Driving cross business unit account development in support of account strategy.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Master Degree level qualification (Or equivalent) in a STEM/Business related subject.

  • Good understanding of the overall energy landscape (Power, Oil & Gas and Renewables).

  • English speaking and writing. Any additional languages will also be a strong asset.

  • Proven experience in complex/technical sales cycle

  • Experience dealing with OEMs, distributors, system integrators and matrix/multi-national companies.
