We are looking for a talented Microsoft Sharepoint Administrator to join our team specializing in IT for our Power Systems Business Segment in Peterborough.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Providing comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for Microsoft applications; specifically working very closely with Microsoft Sharepoint

  • Analyzing and evaluating Microsoft applications (such as Teams, Power BI, Flows and Power Apps) functionality and providing recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities

  • Determining and documenting optimum Microsoft application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications; configuring and verifying application setup and configuration

  • Developing expertise in Microsoft Sharepoint and other Microsoft tools and solution trends and functionality; providing functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems

  • Partnering with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts and architects to gather, document and review functional, architecture and technical requirements and define application functional designs

  • Serving as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures and functionality associated primarily with Microsoft Sharepoint for projects and application support (as needed)

  • Creating and managing functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Bachelors/Masters in IT, Technology or related subject

  • Technical hands-on experience in Microsoft Sharepoint essential – additional experience with Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Flow and Power Apps would be beneficial

  • Certification in Microsoft Sharepoint Admin is important

  • Mixture of project and support experience ideal

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary between £39,000-£47,000

  • Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%
