Order Management Coordinator (FTC)

Description

We are looking for a talented Order Management Coordinator to join our team in our Global Supply Chain Business Unit in Peterborough on a fixed term, 12 month contract.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for assigned internal customer accounts for the entire order life cycle (from new internal customer set-up, order entry/modification, escalations; responsibilities might include logistics management) to ensure orders are shipped to agreed deadline.

  • Act as the single-point-of-contact to internal customers, parts distribution centers and manufacturing plants to process and fulfil customer orders.

  • Create accurate documentation and continual communication to customer throughout the process.

  • Collaborate with your supervisor for complex escalations/issues providing documentation throughout the process.

  • Guide internal customers when it comes to export polices and ensure required export/shipping documentation is compliant with legislation.

  • Liaise between the internal customer, aftermarket team and/or manufacturing location for quality issues; submit Material Non-Conformance or Process Non-Conformance claims via the Quality Management System.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Existing experience in either order management, account management, customer services or in the supply chain field.

  • Proven track record of working in a fast paced, high volume order management/ supply chain environment.

  • Experience with GOMS, SAP, Oracle or a similar ERP package would be an advantage.

  • A genuine passion for achieving customer service excellence

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary between £21 - £22,000 depending on experience.

  • Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions 5%
