This is a very exciting opportunity at our shared service center in Peterborough for an experienced Order Processing Supervisor. In this position you will be responsible for managing a team of Order Life Cycle Administrators to achieve critical business performance metrics in accordance with the service level agreement.

This position is within a brand new shared service center and it is perfect for you if you are looking for the opportunity to make a name for yourself in a global organization. You will be able to develop a new team as well as be a key influencer in Continuous Improvement initiatives for the center.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Lead a team of order administrators to ensure timely order fulfilment.

  • Own the entire order life cycle (order entry, order modification and escalations)

  • Act as the single-point-of-contact to internal stakeholder for order inquiries and escalations; manage escalations to closure.

  • Continuously demonstrate a very high standard of communication in all interactions.

  • Liaise with internal production, planning & materials teams to ensure prompt, accurate and timely order throughput including achievement of financial targets.

  • Communicate with stakeholders from other functional areas such as sales, warehouse and logistics to confirm the status of orders and resolve queries.

  • Supports Shared Service departmental goals and initiatives to become a more proactive organization such as enhancing and documenting standard administrative practices.

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

To be a success in this role you will need:

  • Existing, relevant work experience in either a shared service, order management or supply chain environment.

  • A proven track record of working in a fast-paced Order Management/ Supply Chain environment.

  • To be driven to achieve critical business performance metrics in accordance with the service level agreement.

  • To enjoy being a positive and motivational leader, with demonstrable experience managing a team who are performing transactional tasks.

  • To coach and develop your team with a focus on encouraging high performance and supporting professional development of everyone looking to progress.

  • Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to liaise with other shared service teams, internal stakeholders and other parts of the business.

  • To be a voice for Continuous Improvement, actively participating in the design and implementation of new processes and procedures for the site.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary up to £32,000 plus an 8% variable bonus (paid annually based on company performance)

  • Contributions towards private healthcare

  • Pension (Cummins contributions up to 7%)

  • 25 days holiday plus stats
