We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our team specializing in Generator Technologies for our Power Systems in Peterborough.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

-Managing, developing, and implementing project(s) of varying complexity and size in assigned functional area. You will partner with business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion.

-You will lead multiple projects from inception to completion by; facilitating project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project; working with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals; designing project plan, developing timelines, identifying project milestones and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline.

-Planning and monitoring project budget, conducting research and analysis and provide input into the design and development of project plans and timelines and communicating that with project teams.

-Managing project risk variable and using quality tools to identify areas of risk and working cross functionally to identify alternatives or solutions.

-Maintaining project notes, databases, and other records as well as monitoring, measuring and communicating with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments.

-Identifying and assigning appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks. You will need to guide and coach team members through various stages of the project and provide developmental feedback to team members.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

-Must have previous Project Management / Project Leadership experience

-Ideally have a background in Power Generation Products or products of similar complexity

-Degree level qualification is preferred but not essential

-Ideally previous experience working collaboratively with stakeholders in China and/or India


Compensation and Benefits

-Basic Salary: £34,700 - £43,400.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.

  • Proven experience in multi-program project management, ability to lead and communicate with key stakeholders.

  • Obsolescence of components, options, product project management ensuring alignment with commercial, Engineering, Supply chain and aftermarket functions.

  • Identification, resolution and appropriate escalation of conflicts and risk

  • Acting as business owner is delivery of projects to plan
