This is an exciting opportunity in our Quimper office for a Senior HR Generalist to work within a team of 5 and manage 1 direct report. You will be responsible for supporting employee relations, team development, work councils’ meetings and leading projects to improve the overall site function.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
Team of 5 (Regional HR leader, payroll, HR assistant, training and recruitment and senior HR generalist)
Coaching the training and recruitment consultant, managing 1-1’s, performance reviews etc
Responsible for all employee relations including sickness, holidays, working hours, disciplinaries and grievances
Working cross functionally with line managers to help with recruitment, job grading, benchmarking, onboarding
Providing leadership training to new and existing employees
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures across the site
Leading projects to improve skills cross-functionally and assist on ad-hoc projects with the Regional HR leader
Attend monthly work council meetings
Involved with labor relations and negotiations
Skills and Experience Required:
Fluent in French and English written and verbal communications
Proven experience of French labor law and labor relations
Supervisory experience would be beneficial but it is not essential and will provide a step up for the successful candidate
Proven experience of conflict management with work councils, employees and line managers
Influencing and problem-solving skills to improve the site
Proven experience managing deadlines and organisation skills
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
HR Masters’ Degree would be beneficial
