Our Distribution Business Unit in Europe consists of a distributor and dealer support network. They deliver reliable sales and service of durable and high performing engine, generator set and aftermarket products to our regionally based (global) partners. Working in a diverse, multi-cultural and innovative space, you’ll interact directly with our customers, build relationships and develop high tech solutions that will fuel your advanced career skill set. Our integrated business demand the talents and creativity of individuals with a wide range of skills and experience.

This is an exciting opportunity in Rugby, UK for a Senior Technical Support Specialist working with our Filtration product range. It is a European wide role supporting the business across Europe.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • By providing technical support and training to clients after the sale of the product and troubleshooting technical problems.

  • By working with customers and potential customers regarding the resolution of technical or engineering issues, installation and utilization of the company`s products.

  • By proposing changes in products and services that result in cost reductions and increased sales.

  • By delivering product training for both customers and the sales force.

  • By providing sales force coaching focused on technical development.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Warranty knowledge, extended coverage and policy programs;

  • Have a technical background and be passionate about technology;

  • Comfortable on working with customers;

  • Analytical mind set;

  • Able to train and coach others;

  • Affinity towards technical sales;

  • Ability to speak multiple European Languages (French, Italian, German) would be beneficial;

  • flexibility to travel is also needed;

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • College, University or equivalent Bachelor`s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
