This is an exciting opportunity in Rumst for a Financial Analysis Manager

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Responsible for the development and preparation of forecasting, analysing, and evaluating financial plans and budgets for the assigned business unit or corporation i.e. annual operating plan, five year simulation, monthly forecast.

  • Analyses, evaluates, and reports on budget variances vs plan and forecast.

  • Provides financial support and business partnering to the Sales organization in Europe (including Russia), Africa and Middle East (managed by two Regional Sales Directors).

  • Ensures the accuracy of the financial statements and monitors key financial indicators of the regions (e.g. Gross Margin, Inventory, Past Dues, CAPEX execution, etc.).

  • Ensures a strong Internal Control environment is in place.

  • Identifies and develops financial analysis linked to the business goals and strategy.

  • Coaches and mentors financial analysts; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct or indirect reports.



Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven Financial Controller experience in manufacturing related environment.

  • Experience in preparing and presenting financial information to Senior Management.

  • Identifies and manages risks while assigning the appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks.

  • Ability to partners with business leaders to provide input into development of business strategies.

  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret complex financial/operational information and present data in a manner to make informed decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to probe and challenge effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement and maintain control environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and make improvements.

  • Ability to work well within strict time frames within an international environment.

  • Provide skills in coaching and developing diverse teams and leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Advance computer skills [Microsoft Windows (Excel, ppt, etc.), Oracle and Hyperion desired (HFM)]

  • Experience with Oracle ERP and systems upgrades / implementations an advantage

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.

  • Native French speaker (preferred) and strong English skills (verbally and written).
