This is an exciting opportunity in Belgium for a Senior Line HR Generalist to join a team of 4. You will be reporting to the Line HR Manager and manage 1 HR Generalist. As a Senior Line HR Generalist, you will be responsible for all HR Generalist matters, partnering with department managers across the site, managing 380 employees, providing training, performance management, making sure policies are adhered to and working on ad-hoc projects.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Business partnering with up to 15 department managers in all areas including Finance, Sales, Warehousing and Operations,

  • Training new managers and providing leadership training,

  • Training around social legislation,

  • Training around ethics,

  • Training around the complaints and disciplinary procedures,

  • Dealing with recruitment – screening, interviews, offers, contracts and onboarding,

  • Onboarding for non-exempt and office staff,

  • Being the first point of contact for disciplinaries,

  • Performance management mid-year and year-end: working closely with line manager and department managers,

  • Working closely with Line HR Manger and Line HR,

  • Having 1 direct report,

  • Ad-hoc projects on Cummins improvement,

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Dutch Language

  • English Language

  • Strong communication with functions and line managers

  • Excel knowledge

  • Word knowledge

  • HR Generalist

  • Business partnering experience

  • Belgium Legislation
