For our site in Rumst we are searching for a:

Senior HR Application Analyst (M/F)


  • Provides comprehensive HR application functionality, configuration and support expertise for HR application software solutions; works with business analysts, architects, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the different HR related applications.

  • Determines and documents optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications; configures and verifies application setup and configuration.

  • Conducts analysis of potential application solutions, identifies and recommends solutions to address functionality gaps in the application.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with relevant vendors; works with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.

  • Partners with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts and architects to gather, document and review functional, architecture and technical requirements and define application functional designs.

  • Serves as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support (as needed).

  • Creates and manages functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution



  • Capable of implementing new HR related tools and giving independently support of these new and also existing tools.

  • Has a global perspective - Taking a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens.

  • Feels best in an international environment with stakeholders in own and also other country’s.

  • Works on configurations, testing, change control, documentation, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.

  • Creates, designs and formulates models, diagrams and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

  • Business insight - Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals.

  • Has very good communication skills and build good relationships with the different stakeholders and is capable of managing conflict with discretion and tact on an enterprise level.

  • Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.

  • Optimizes work processes


  • Bachelor in Information technology, Computer science or similar.


  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a European/global HR analyst environment.

  • Global HCM implementation experience required preferably in HCM cloud or Oracle EBS HR modules, Payroll & benefits systems.

  • Strong functional knowledge of one or multiple Oracle HCM modules or Oracle EBS HR modules or similar products.

  • Proficiency in HR processes and Knowledge of developing and documenting HR processes for users.

  • Experience in data conversion using different tools like HDL, MS Access, and MS Excel.

  • Experience in project management for complex and medium projects, ITPM methodologies, AGILE, 7 Step and regular waterfall models.

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch and French is a plus.
