Senior Payroll Analyst - EMEA Region

Description

Your tasks

  • You will be fully responsible for processing and monitoring all payroll processing activities for various payroll groups, including preparing, processing, and reviewing payroll for our countries within EMEA.

  • It is important that you ensure that all information received from data interfaces and manual data sources is uploaded to the system without errors.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that payments are calculated and paid accurately and on time; to this end, you will ensure proper calculation of taxes and deductions.

  • You provide support to the various sites within EMEA, handling the various questions that employees may have about their pay.

  • Also you prepare data required for filing payroll related tax returns and various withholding forms.

  • You must complete the year-end process including year-end adjustments, year-end tax statements and review of year-end tax return information.

  • You are an internal and external resource for payroll related questions. Participates in continuous improvement projects and initiatives; supports the development and maintenance of payroll process documentation.

  • Ensures compliance with internal controls on payroll systems and compliance with tax and other payroll related legislation across EMEA countries

Qualifications

Your profile

  • You have knowledge of legislation in EMEA countries.

  • Communication is important to you and you know how to deal positively with payroll related questions and the emotion this can sometimes bring.

  • You are good at manually processing data.

  • You are precise and accurate and can adhere totight deadlines.

  • You can adjust in a rapidly changing environment and can make decisions.

  • You take initiative and know how to prioritize accordingly.

  • Experience with regional/corporate payroll within a global environment is critical.

  • You have a good knowledge of English and French as you are responsible for payroll in the EMEA region, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

  • A thorough experience in using Time management, payroll and HR systems is important to us.

  • Experience regional/corporate payroll within a global environment is critical.
