In Cummins, Belgium, you will get to work in the Logistics department which is the master distribution center for Europe, Middle-east and Africa.
The purpose of this Internship is to lead one specific project from A to Z and to complete it within the Internship. This while working in a multi-cultural environment and giving you the opportunity to explore our business environment, processes, systems and operations. After finalizing the project, you will be given the opportunity to present your project to our management team.
The project will allow us to increase our efficiency.
You will be given the opportunity to lead a project that will increase the visualization in our department. Customer Order Management Representatives work in various systems with the key focus to deliver excellent service to our customers. Each system has their set of KPI’s (key performance indicators) which allows us to measure departmental performance and to take corrective actions. This project is to establish a tool which will automatically subtract data from multiple systems and visualizes the data for us. This data will be shown on our departmental television screens in a proper esthetic way.
The tool/software needs to be supported by Cummins.
Fluent in English (company language)
Bach. Information Management or IT knowledge preferred
Overall interest in a Supply Chain Environment
Knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot and Power BI is preferred, but not essential.
Learning basic project management skills
Working within a diverse and international team
Gaining proficiency in Customer Order Management and Supply Chain
Improving your Business Process and System knowledge
